    • Indian passport valid for at least 6 months from date of arrival.
    • Completed ETA application (online).
    • Confirmed return or onward flight booking.
    • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking).
    • Proof of sufficient funds for your stay (bank statements or bank cards).

  • How to apply
    • You must obtain an ETA before departure (online), or in many cases as part of arrival processes:
    • Visit the official Sri Lanka ETA portal (Sri Lankan government website) and fill in the visa/ETA application.
    • Provide personal and passport details (valid Indian passport with at least 6 months validity).
    • Receive ETA approval by email, usually within 24–48 hours.
    • Carry ETA approval (digital or printed) for check-in and immigration when you travel.
